Before first use

  • Use the tweezers provided to grab your lenses out of their original storage container.
  • Place each lens in the SWATI lens case and soak in fresh contact lens solution for at least 4 hours.
  • Choose a soap that does not contain oils, lotions, or perfumes. Wash and dry your hands. Only apply makeup after inserting your lenses.

Instructions

Insert your lenses

  1. Place the lens on the tip of your index finger. Make sure the edge of the lens is perfectly upright. If it noticeable curve, flip the lens inside out.
  2.  Hold your eye open with your free hand, then place the lens with your index finger on the cornea.
  3.  Slowly blink and look in different directions to stabilize the lens.

Remove and store

  1.  Wash and dry your hands.
  2.  Hold your eye open with one hand. Gently pinch off your lens with your other hand.
  3.  Place the lenses into the lens case with a solution.

Recommendations for use

  • If your eyes are feeling dry, contact-friendly eye drops may help with symptoms.
  • Do not sleep with your lenses on.
  • If your eyes become irritated, remove your lenses and repeat the cleaning process. If irritation persists, remove your lenses and consult an eye care professional.

Bonus tips

check the lens orientation

Put the lens on your fingertip:

  • correct: edges form a clean “bowl”
  • wrong (inside-out): edges flare outward like a “plate”. Inside-out = irritation and “something’s off” feeling.

dry fingertips = easy insertion

If you’ve never worn lenses (or your eyes get dry easily), don’t wing it on event day. Comfort is a system.

The comfort setup

  1. Test-run 2–3 days before the event (not the same day)
  2. Wear them 60–90 minutes at home first so your eyes adapt
  3. If you’re prone to dryness: keep the day simple — shorter wear time, more breaks

Common mistake: wearing lenses for the first time during a long dinner/event. Do a test-run and you’ll feel in control.

lastly, common mistakes with fixes

  • stings immediately: lens is inside-out or dry → remove, rinse with solution, reinsert
  • blurry vision: lens not centered → blink slowly, nudge gently, or reinsert
  • keeps falling off finger: fingertip too wet → dry hands and try again
